WINGS ICT Solutions proudly contributed to the implementation of the project “Integrated System for the Protection, Promotion and Safety of Mount Aigaleo”, commissioned by the Environmental Association of Athens & Piraeus Municipalities (PESYDAP).

As part of the project, WINGS delivered a robust combination of smart access control and environmental monitoring, utilizing its proprietary platforms wi.MOVE and wi.BREATHE:

Access Monitoring with wi.MOVE

10 IoT sensors were installed at key access points across the mountain, detecting every vehicle entry and exit in real time. Data is transmitted over 4G to the cloud-based wi.MOVE platform, enabling real-time visibility, historical logs, live alerts, and decision-making tools for targeted interventions and unauthorized access prevention.

Environmental Monitoring & Fire Detection with wi.BREATHE

Since November 2024, 5 wi.BREATHE environmental stations have been operating across the area, tracking air quality, temperature, humidity, and detecting smoke early. All data streams are integrated via API to the WINGS cloud platform, providing authorities with real-time situational awareness and improving emergency preparedness.

This smart system is fully operational and aligned with the project’s technical specifications — showcasing WINGS’ commitment to delivering reliable, scalable, and innovative solutions for smart public safety and environmental resilience.
