The patent represents a major milestone, validating years of research and technological development, and positioning WINGS ICT Solutions as a pioneer in AI-driven aquaculture automation. The patent covers our novel method for estimating fish weight using monocular cameras, advanced Machine Learning models, and intelligent image processing — a world-first in the sector.

This breakthrough technology — now part of our wi.grow solution for the aquaculture sector — leverages advanced Machine Learning and Computer Vision algorithms to estimate the average fish weight with over 95% accuracy, regardless of the camera or sensor type used.

By providing real-time, data-driven insights, wi.grow empowers fish producers to optimize feeding (improving the Feed Conversion Ratio by 10%), reduce waste and operational costs, and enhance fish welfare — making aquaculture more productive, sustainable, and secure.
