WINGS ICT Solutions S.A. is pleased to announce the granting of a U.S. Patent Application for its aquaculture product (wi.GROW suite).
Building upon our extensive expertise in IoT and Artificial Intelligence, WINGS has developed an advanced algorithm for transforming aquaculture; this led to the associated patent: “Automated System and Method for Estimating Average Fish Weight in an Aquaculture Environment”.
This innovation represents a significant milestone for aquaculture technology, as it delivers precise aquatic stock weight estimations over any type of sensor / camera.
Through this capability, aquatic stock weight can be estimated with over 95% accuracy, enabling drastic improvements in key parameters like FCR (Feed Conversion Ratio) and in safeguarding fish health, through effective monitoring.
The patented technology is an integral component of the suite of tools wi.GROW, developed by WINGS for optimizing various sectors of agriculture, empowering, from small-scale farms to large industrial operations, to meet the growing global demand, enhance their yields, minimize the operational costs, all in an environmentally sustainable manner.
