Five digital initiatives are bringing smarter public services, enhanced healthcare support, and greater access to culture and knowledge to the Municipality of Velvento, in collaboration with WINGS ICT Solutions.

Part of Greece’s Digital Transformation Programme 2021–2027, the project focuses on five key areas:

Digital healthcare: The wi.care+ platform offers remote health monitoring, fall detection, emergency alerts, and 24/7 telephone support for vulnerable citizens.

Smarter citizen services: A digital system incorporating Artificial Intelligence (AI) will streamline request management and improve response times.

Cultural heritage: Digital solutions will preserve and showcase Velvento’s history and cultural assets.

Digital library: Digitised catalogues and advanced search tools will make library resources easier to access and manage.

Cybersecurity: Secure infrastructure and remote-working solutions will strengthen the protection of municipal information systems.
