WINGS ICT Solutions is leading the transformation of municipal social care through its advanced digital health platform, wi. care+.

We are proud to have supported the Municipality of Chania in its award-winning smart welfare initiative, recognized with a Gold Award at the Best City Awards 2026 in the category of telecare and telemonitoring for vulnerable social groups.

Through its digital health platform wi. care+, WINGS has helped create a complete telecare and telemedicine system that currently supports 179 vulnerable citizens through the Home Help program in the Municipality of Chania.

The solution combines wearable devices, real-time monitoring, and instant alert systems, ensuring that citizens can receive help quickly when needed and feel safer in their everyday lives. Hundreds of medical and cognitive monitoring sessions have already taken place, improving both quality of care and peace of mind for citizens and their families.

The project was implemented with funding from Greece 2.0 (National Recovery and Resilience Plan), supporting investments that accelerate digital transformation and social cohesion at the local government level.

This distinction highlights how technology, when designed around real human needs, can make a meaningful difference in local communities.
