WINGS ICT Solutions Co-Founder and Technology Development Specialist, Mr. Panagiotis Demestichas, delivered a speech on our AIRWINGSplus product on early detection and prevention of wildfires, during the MEDEA Project (Mediterranean & Black Sea Security Practitioners’ Network) / IFAPRI (International Forum to Advance First Responder Innovation) event, held in Athens, Greece on October 30th and 31st, 2023.

During his speech, Mr. Demestichas introduced AIRWINGSplus, a system designed for early fire detection and warnings, aimed at advancing environmental protection against wildfires. This comprehensive solution leverages the Internet of Things (IoT), wireless technology, and artificial intelligence (AI), incorporating both hardware components such as cameras, AIRWINGS devices, and WINGS gateways, as well as software elements like monitoring and autonomous fire detection using AI and video analytics, which is patented by WINGS. The system’s capabilities extend to providing warnings to relevant operators and authorities.

The capabilities of the system were explained during the speech and were demonstrated in real time in the booth.
