The wi.breathe platform by WINGS ICT Solutions has been deployed to deliver an advanced intelligent system for continuous monitoring, early warning, and wildfire risk reduction in the Municipality of Rigas Feraios. The solution combines state-of-the-art technologies for real-time fire detection, environmental data analysis, and proactive protection of natural areas.

To ensure complete coverage of high-risk zones — Kerasia, Veneto, and Kanalia — rotating high-resolution surveillance cameras have been installed, providing 24/7 panoramic monitoring and immediate alerts upon smoke or fire detection.

The wi.breathe system enables real-time situational awareness, automated notifications, and advanced analytics, empowering municipal authorities to respond rapidly, optimize resources, and strengthen operational readiness.

This project significantly enhances Civil Protection capabilities, supports proactive wildfire prevention.
