Powered by our wi.breathe and wi.sense platforms, the new environmental monitoring and early flood warning solution will help the Municipality improve air quality awareness, strengthen preparedness against flood risks, and enhance the safety and quality of life of local communities.

The project includes a network of smart indoor and outdoor air quality monitoring stations, radar water level sensors for continuous flood monitoring, an AI-powered cloud platform for analytics, forecasting and alerting, as well as a mobile application for real-time operational notifications and response.

By leveraging IoT and AI technologies, the Municipality will be able to monitor critical environmental indicators in real time and respond more effectively to environmental and climate-related challenges.

Aligned with the European Rock the Block (RTB) initiative for smart, resilient and sustainable urban neighborhoods, this project marks another important step toward building greener, safer and more climate-resilient cities.
