WINGS ICT Solutions is proud to lead and manage the SEA-SPINE project, a flagship European initiative strengthening connectivity across the Aegean region. Designed to increase network capacity, reduce latency, and enhance overall user experience, SEA-SPINE also contributes to more efficient and resilient operations.
Through the deployment of advanced fiber infrastructure and the integration of technologies such as 5G and AI, the project enables critical applications in infrastructure monitoring, traffic optimization, and safety—laying the groundwork for next-generation civil and security services, including the protection of critical infrastructure.
As a 3-year project, co-funded by the EU’s Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) and expected to be completed by the end of 2026, SEA-SPINE will interconnect 11 Greek islands through an extensive submarine and terrestrial fiber network. Beyond its strategic importance for Greece and South Eastern Europe, it opens new pathways for WINGS to expand into high-impact digital and infrastructure solutions.
